What this website collects
This notice covers this website only. It does not cover your medical records at Magnum Hospital, which the hospital holds under its own policies, and it does not cover anything you send to the hospital by phone or WhatsApp.
The appointment form
If you fill in the appointment form, you give us your name, your phone number, the reason for your visit, the day and the half of the day you would prefer, and anything you type in the notes box. The reason for your visit says something about your health, so please write only as much as you want the front desk to read.
That request goes to the front desk at Magnum Hospital so that somebody can call you back and confirm a time. It is not used for anything else. We do not send you marketing, and we do not pass it to anyone outside the hospital.
The form is handled by Netlify, which hosts this website, and the submissions sit in Netlify's system until they are deleted. Netlify holds them on our instruction and for no purpose of its own.
Booking in the hospital's own system
The "Book online" button leaves this website and opens Magnum Hospital's own appointment system. Anything you enter there is held by the hospital in that system, under the hospital's policies, not by this website.
Calling and WhatsApp
Tapping the phone number dials Magnum Hospital. Tapping a WhatsApp button opens a chat with the hospital's own WhatsApp line. In both cases you are talking to the hospital directly, and what you say there is covered by the hospital's policies and by WhatsApp's. This website does not see or keep the conversation.
Measurement
This site uses Google Analytics to count visits and to see which pages people read. It records four things you can do: tapping the phone number, tapping a WhatsApp button, tapping an appointment button, and reaching the thank-you page after sending the form.
It records that those things happened, never what you typed. Nothing from the form, and no name, phone number or reason for visit, is sent to Google. Google Signals and ad personalisation are both switched off on this site, so your visit is not used to build an advertising profile of you or to put you in an audience.
If you reached this site from an advertisement, Google records that the click arrived and, where you then tap a phone number or send the form, that it led somewhere. That is counted as a number, not as a person.
How long it is kept
Appointment requests are kept while they are being dealt with and are deleted when they are no longer needed for that. Analytics data is kept for fourteen months and then deleted by Google automatically.
Asking to see it, correct it, or have it deleted
You can ask what we hold about you, ask for it to be corrected, or ask for it to be deleted, and you do not have to give a reason. Write to info@magnumhospital.com or call +91 81294 21212 and say it is about a website enquiry. If you are not satisfied with the answer, the Data Protection Board of India can be approached under the Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023.
