Vaginal Discharge
Overview
Vaginal discharge is a fluid that contains a mix of vaginal secretions and cervical mucus. The amount of vaginal discharge produced varies from woman to woman but is often normal and healthy.
Some of the common causes of abnormal vaginal discharge include such as yeast infection, bacterial vaginosis or menopause. Abnormal vaginal discharge also can be a symptom of certain sexually transmitted infections (STIs).

Symptoms of Vaginal Discharge
Vaginal discharge is often normal, but there are instances when the color, amount, or consistency of discharge may indicate a problem.

Vaginal itching or burning

Discharge that is frothy, foamy, or looks like cottage cheese
